Join friends of Fort Ligonier for a fun overnight excursion to Philadelphia via a luxury motorcoach to see one of the fort's 6-pounder cannon's on display in the museum's "Hamilton was Here" exhibit. Trip includes transportation, museum admission, a special Alexander Hamilton lecture, overnight accommodations at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing, and a full buffet breakfast. A visit to see General John Forbes' final resting place at Christ Church is also being planned. Fort Association Members: $250 per person | Non-Members: $275 per person. (Both rates based on double occupancy) The trip will depart from and return to Fort Ligonier. Participants can leave their vehicles in the Fort Parking Lot overnight. ITINERARY Saturday, March 2 6:00 AM Arrive at Fort Ligonier. Participants may park their vehicle overnight in the Fort's parking lot. 6:15 AM Bus departs for Philadelphia. 11:30 am - noon Arrive at the Museum of the American Revolution 12-12:30 pm Lunch on own at museum's Cross Keys Café 12:40 pm Meet Julie and Matt for special Hamilton was Here - 30-Minute Lecture 1:30 pm Admission to galleries - explore on own. 3:30 pm (Optional) Meet Matt at museum entrance for walk to General John Forbes final resting place at Christ Church. (Optional) Meet Julie at museum entrance to board bus to leave for hotel. Participants may also choose to walk to hotel. *Julie will review check in process before group departs bus for museum.
